Transforming a former warehouse complex into one of Mombasa’s most popular shopping malls, this project required extensive structural modifications while preserving the overall footprint. New structural systems were introduced to accommodate multi-level retail spaces, escalators, passenger lifts, and modern commercial facilities, creating a contemporary shopping environment from an industrial shell. Likoni Mall is distinguished by its bright, open interiors, elegant circulation spaces, premium finishes, feature ceilings, and modern lighting, creating an inviting and sophisticated retail experience. Executing a major conversion required careful structural engineering to seamlessly integrate new construction with the existing framework while meeting the functional and aesthetic demands of a modern retail development. The completed project stands as a landmark retail destination in Mombasa.
